Official confirmation of the end of the EUCC of Planes del Rei
Following a request from our association, our lawyer obtained an official document from the Generalitat de Catalunya confirming a key point: the Urbanistic Conservation Entity (EUCC) of Planes del Rei is now definitively dissolved.
This certificate, dated 26 September 2018 and signed by the head of the Register of Collaborative Urbanistic Entities, states that the dissolution is registered following the ruling of the High Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) dated 21 July 2016.
In other words, after the judicial power, it is now the political power that confirms the end of the EUCC. This official recognition removes all ambiguity: the EUCC no longer exists, neither legally nor administratively.
It is now up to the municipality of Pratdip to draw all the necessary conclusions from this dissolution. This notably means:
- The definitive elimination of any management or funding mechanism related to the former EUCC
- The immediate assumption of minimum public services in Planes del Rei: public lighting, roads, water, waste collection…
This document is an important victory for the residents of Planes del Rei and for all those who have been mobilized for years. Legality is on our side. It is time for the municipality of Pratdip to finally fulfill its obligations.
