From 21 to 23 August 2026, Pratdip and Santa Marina will host a new edition of DIGIT, a festival that definitely takes a different approach.
Electronic music, digital arts, audiovisual performances, installations, workshops… For three days, the village and the natural surroundings of Santa Marina will become the setting for a cultural event unlike anything we usually see in our area.
Whether you are already a fan of electronic music or simply curious to discover something new, it could well be worth the experience.
A small-scale festival
DIGIT describes itself as a “microfestival of digital arts, electronic music and the Mediterranean ecosystem”.
The word “microfestival” matters. This is not a huge event attracting tens of thousands of people, but a deliberately more intimate festival spread across different locations in Pratdip and around Santa Marina.
The idea is not only to discover new artists, but also to enjoy the places in which they perform. And there is something particularly appealing about electronic music resonating among the mountainous landscapes of Pratdip and Santa Marina.
Electronic music, but much more besides
The 2026 programme is particularly eclectic, featuring DJ sets, live sets, audiovisual performances, live coding, sound and interactive installations, as well as several workshops.
Among the many artists announced are Baldabiou, Bas Dobbelaer, IMOX, Katatonic Silentio, Mimik, Paduan, Pajaro Dune, Rochelle and Ylia.
So don’t expect DIGIT to be simply a succession of DJs playing to a dance floor. The festival explores different sides of contemporary electronic creativity, ranging from ambient and experimental soundscapes to dub, house and techno, with some performances designed for contemplation and others driven by a much stronger beat.
In other words, there will be plenty to listen to and discover… and, at times, plenty of reasons to dance.
Three days between Pratdip and Santa Marina
The festival begins at midday on Friday 21 August. Activities will take place at various locations around the municipality, in Pratdip until 9 pm, before moving to Santa Marina from 10 pm until 2 am.
Friday’s vermouth session, from 12 noon to 5 pm, will be free to attend. It could be the perfect opportunity for anyone curious about DIGIT to come along and get a taste of the festival atmosphere.
Saturday 22 August will be the main day for music, with concerts and performances taking place at Santa Marina from midday until 3 am. The organisers also point out that Saturday will have a stronger focus on music, with a more powerful sound system.
Finally, on Sunday 23 August, activities will continue from midday until 5 pm at Santa Marina and other locations around Pratdip.
Detailed running order still to come
At the time of publication, the full list of artists has been announced, but the running order and exact performance times have not yet been released.
The organisers say that the detailed running order will be published shortly before the festival.

Special rates for Pratdip residents
The full three-day festival pass is currently priced at €60. It provides access to the entire festival and also includes free registration for one of the workshops, subject to availability.
Day tickets are also available: €32 for Saturday and €14 for Sunday. Paid events on Friday are, in principle, included with the full festival pass.
And there is good news for local residents: the organisers are offering a 66% discount for Pratdip residents, upon presentation of a DNI or certificate of registration on the municipal register (empadronamiento) when arriving at the festival.
Why not simply come and discover it?
You may know absolutely nothing about live coding, may never have heard of most of the artists on the programme, or may never normally go to electronic music festivals.
And that might be exactly why DIGIT is worth discovering.
For three days, something quite unusual will be happening practically on our doorstep. Artists, music and digital creations more commonly associated with specialist festivals in major cities will be coming to Pratdip and Santa Marina.
DIGIT is probably as much an invitation to discover something new as it is a music festival.
And for anyone who enjoys electronic music that can create an atmosphere, gradually build the rhythm and, why not, make you want to move, Saturday night at Santa Marina could have some very good moments in store.
One thing is certain: from 21 to 23 August, something rather unusual will be happening in Pratdip.
It would be a shame not to go along and have a listen.
