About La Tribune de Planas

La Tribune de Planas is an independent local news website covering current affairs, the history and the future of Planas del Rey (Les Planes del Rei), in the municipality of Pratdip, Catalonia.

We publish articles, analysis, official documents and practical information to help readers better understand the issues affecting the development, its residents and how it is changing.

How La Tribune began

La Tribune de Planas was founded in the summer of 2016 to make information more accessible to residents and property owners in Planas del Rey.

Over the years, the website has expanded its coverage of local affairs, historical records and the development’s administrative history. It aims to bring together information scattered across different sources, explain official documents and help readers form their own opinions.

Today, La Tribune de Planas continues this work independently. It has no ties to any association, political party or public institution.

Understanding and sharing information

I have owned a property in Planas del Rey since 2002 and have watched the development change over the years. Along the way, I have come to know its residents, its history and the challenges it faces.

La Tribune grew out of my desire to understand that history better and share what I discover. Behind this project are personal curiosity, a strong attachment to Planas and a particular concern for situations I believe to be unjust.

I enjoy searching for documents, finding first-hand accounts and piecing together the sequence of events. This work helps explain how Planas developed, how certain decisions were made and why some questions remain unanswered today.

My aim is not to tell others what to think, but to give them access to the information they need to form their own opinions.
