Call for vigilance from property owners
Dear neighbors of Planes del Rei,
As President of the Executive Committee of Avança Pratdip, I wish today to warn property owners about certain projects of the Town Hall which, with the support of Unidos por Planes del Rei, are seeking to take us backwards.
What the Town Hall is planning
The Town Hall, together with Unidos, plans to create a new entity. This is the purpose of the meeting on August 6 to which you have all been invited.
What this would mean
- New fees to be paid by property owners.
- Imposed decisions that will not please everyone.
- A return to a model that other nearby municipalities do not use, as they manage their “satellite” urbanizations directly without issue.
It appears that the Municipal Council of Pratdip sees our urbanization as a significant source of income that it wishes to keep for as long as possible.
The reparcelación imposed despite opposition
Beyond creating a new entity, the Town Hall wants to impose a reparcelación despite the majority of negative opinions received from property owners. To this day, no one knows what excessive expenses this might lead us to.
Our recommendation
You will receive, from Unidos, a form seeking your agreement on the decisions to be taken at the August 6 meeting. We strongly advise you not to take it into account.
