Very Convenient Absences…
Dear members, dear supporters, dear property owners of Planas del Rey,
We would like to inform you of the developments in our legal actions and recent events.
First of all, the Mayor of Pratdip and the municipal Secretary did not attend the hearing scheduled for July 4 before the judge, both citing sick leave.
However, it is worth noting that they were present at the municipal council meeting on Friday, July 1, just three days earlier.
We are therefore awaiting a new hearing date.
Reparcelación: a decision marked by irregularities
We have also learned that the reparcelación project was approved on July 1, 2022 by the municipal council.
During this meeting, the two councilors from Avança Pratdip (AVP) were present, but did not take part in the vote. And for good reason: this item was not on the agenda and was not submitted for a vote during the session.
We must therefore conclude that the approval took place after the official closure of the meeting, in the absence of the AVP councilors, and despite the numerous appeals sent to the Town Hall, all of which remain unanswered to this day.
Once again, the Town Hall acts arbitrarily and outside the legal framework.
New maneuver: creating another association?
In addition, we have been informed that the group Unidos por Planas is organizing a meeting open to all property owners.
On the agenda: “Possibility of creating a new community of property owners”.
We question the purpose of such an initiative. What is the point of creating a new structure when two already exist, and when we have two elected municipal councilors who are doing their best, despite the obstacles, to defend the interests of Planas property owners within the municipal council?
