From 21 to 23 August 2026<\/span>, Pratdip and Santa Marina will host a new edition of DIGIT, a festival that definitely takes a different approach.<\/p>\n Electronic music, digital arts, audiovisual performances, installations, workshops\u2026 For three days, the village and the natural surroundings of Santa Marina will become the setting for a cultural event unlike anything we usually see in our area.<\/p>\n Whether you are already a fan of electronic music or simply curious to discover something new, it could well be worth the experience.<\/p>\n DIGIT describes itself as a \u201cmicrofestival of digital arts, electronic music and the Mediterranean ecosystem\u201d<\/span>.<\/p>\n The word \u201cmicrofestival\u201d matters. This is not a huge event attracting tens of thousands of people, but a deliberately more intimate festival spread across different locations in Pratdip and around Santa Marina.<\/p>\n The idea is not only to discover new artists, but also to enjoy the places in which they perform. And there is something particularly appealing about electronic music resonating among the mountainous landscapes of Pratdip and Santa Marina<\/span>.<\/p>\n The 2026 programme is particularly eclectic, featuring DJ sets, live sets, audiovisual performances, live coding, sound and interactive installations<\/span>, as well as several workshops.<\/p>\n Among the many artists announced are Baldabiou, Bas Dobbelaer, IMOX, Katatonic Silentio, Mimik, Paduan, Pajaro Dune, Rochelle and Ylia<\/span>.<\/p>\n So don\u2019t expect DIGIT to be simply a succession of DJs playing to a dance floor. The festival explores different sides of contemporary electronic creativity, ranging from ambient and experimental soundscapes to dub, house and techno, with some performances designed for contemplation and others driven by a much stronger beat.<\/p>\n In other words, there will be plenty to listen to and discover\u2026 and, at times, plenty of reasons to dance.<\/p>\n The festival begins at midday on Friday 21 August<\/span>. Activities will take place at various locations around the municipality, in Pratdip until 9 pm, before moving to Santa Marina from 10 pm until 2 am.<\/p>\n Friday\u2019s vermouth session, from 12 noon to 5 pm, will be free to attend<\/span>. It could be the perfect opportunity for anyone curious about DIGIT to come along and get a taste of the festival atmosphere.<\/p>\n Saturday 22 August<\/span> will be the main day for music, with concerts and performances taking place at Santa Marina from midday until 3 am. The organisers also point out that Saturday will have a stronger focus on music, with a more powerful sound system.<\/p>\n Finally, on Sunday 23 August<\/span>, activities will continue from midday until 5 pm at Santa Marina and other locations around Pratdip.<\/p>\n At the time of publication, the full list of artists has been announced, but the running order and exact performance times have not yet been released<\/span>.<\/p>\n The organisers say that the detailed running order will be published shortly before the festival.<\/p>\n La Tribune de Planas will update this article as soon as the full programme becomes available.<\/p>\n
