These measures concern all residents and property owners in the municipality.<\/p>\n<p>The information below comes from official publications.<\/p>\n<hr style=\"margin-bottom: 30px;\" \/>\n<h2>Two fiscal decisions applicable from 2026<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\n    <span class=\"accentue\">Waste tax:<\/span> +\u20ac38 per year compared with the amount currently paid.<br \/>\n    By way of example, this represents an increase of around +20% compared with the amount currently paid by some households.<br \/>\n    The exact impact may nevertheless vary depending on each household\u2019s situation.\n  <\/li>\n<li>\n    <span class=\"accentue\">Municipal tax on building works:<\/span> increase of the rate from 3.04% to 3.5% of the total cost of the works.<br \/>\n    Example: for \u20ac10,000 of works, the tax increases from \u20ac304 to \u20ac350, i.e. an increase of \u20ac46.<br \/>\n    This is therefore an increase in an existing rate that has been in force for several years.\n  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote style=\"padding:20px 5px 0px 20px\">\n<h2>Official reference texts<\/h2>\n<p>The fiscal decisions mentioned above are based on official publications that can be consulted via the following links:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n    <span class=\"accentue\">Waste tax \u2013 official decision<\/span><br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.latribunedeplanas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/2025-12-23-nouvelle-taxe-dechets.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">View the document<\/a>\n  <\/li>\n<li>\n    <span class=\"accentue\">Municipal tax on building works \u2013 rate modification<\/span><br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.latribunedeplanas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/2025-12-24-nouvelle-taxe-travaux-.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">View the document<\/a>\n  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<hr style=\"margin-bottom: 30px;\" \/>\n<h2>Services already financed<\/h2>\n<p>Waste collection has been financed by residents for many years. The town council was already passing on the cost of this service and, from 2026, the bill will increase once again.<\/p>\n<p>In Planas del Rey, this increase comes at a time when <span class=\"accentue\">minimum municipal services are still not guaranteed<\/span>.<\/p>\n<hr style=\"margin-bottom: 30px;\" \/>\n<h2>Official publications and opposition deadlines<\/h2>\n<p>These decisions have been officially published. However, they can easily go unnoticed if one does not regularly consult the town council\u2019s <span class=\"accentue\">sede electr\u00f3nica<\/span> or the <span class=\"accentue\">BOPT<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>A period of one month was provided to lodge an objection. No specific information was communicated to residents in this regard.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"accentue\">Hence the importance of sharing this information so that everyone can be made aware of it<\/span><\/p>\n<hr style=\"margin-bottom: 30px;\" \/>\n<h2>IdCAT: an important tool for residents<\/h2>\n<p>The <span class=\"accentue\">IdCAT<\/span> is the Catalan digital identity.<\/p>\n<p>It allows users to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>access official documents (taxes, budgets, decisions),<\/li>\n<li>be informed about administrative publications,<\/li>\n<li>respond within the legal deadlines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The procedure to obtain IdCAT is relatively time-consuming, but once obtained it is definitive and particularly useful.<\/p>\n<p class=\"accentue\">Without IdCAT, many decisions may go unnoticed.<\/p>\n<hr style=\"margin: 30px;\" \/>\n<blockquote style=\"padding:20px;\">\n<h2>Update \u2013 30 December 2025<\/h2>\n<p>Following the publication of this article, the Pratdip town council provided clarifications regarding the fiscal decisions mentioned.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n    <span class=\"accentue\">Municipal tax on building works (ICIO)<\/span> : the town council indicates that the 3.5&nbsp;% rate has been in force since 2024 (3.04&nbsp;% in 2023). The modification approved in 2025, with effect from 2026, is limited exclusively to the obligation to provide a deposit (<em>fian\u00e7a<\/em>) for certain new construction licences, as well as to the update of the annexes used to calculate the taxable base when no budget is provided.\n  <\/li>\n<li>\n    <span class=\"accentue\">Waste tax<\/span> : the town council indicates that no increase has been approved. The publication of 23 December 2025 was subject to an <span class=\"accentue\">official rectification in the BOPT<\/span>, this publication having been recognised as an <span class=\"accentue\">errata<\/span> and declared <span class=\"accentue\">without legal effect<\/span>.
