Dear members, supporters, and property owners of Planas del Rey<\/span>,<\/p>\n This Saturday, Unidos por Planes<\/span> will propose the creation of a fourth association<\/span> in Planes del Rei<\/span>. Here we explain why we believe this initiative would lead us straight into a dead end<\/span>.<\/p>\n From July 21, 2016<\/span> (the date on which the EUCC<\/span> was dissolved by the TSJC<\/span>) until January 26, 2022<\/span>, five and a half years<\/span> have passed. Our association has shown extreme patience<\/span>. Yet the Pratdip Town Hall<\/span> remains fixated on one goal: rebuilding<\/span> a management entity of the EUCC type.<\/p>\n They tried to weaken us, to make us give in\u2026<\/p>\n In May 2021<\/span>, the result of the appeal<\/span> filed by the Town Hall in February 2018<\/span> against the enforcement of the dissolution ruling was clear: the Town Hall was dismissed<\/span> and financially sanctioned<\/span>.<\/p>\n One would expect the final decision of the Barcelona Court to be respected<\/span>. It was not. Just a few weeks later, the Town Hall proposed to our representatives to create a new entity<\/span> with a budget of more than \u20ac103,000<\/span> in the first year and, after signing<\/em>, the \u201cgenerous\u201d restoration of street lighting<\/span>. In other words: a return to the pre-2016 extortion<\/span>.<\/p>\n Our association refused<\/span> this disgraceful deal and suspended<\/span> all discussions with the Town Hall until the lighting was restored. Unidos por Planes<\/span>, the initiator of the August 6<\/span> meeting, accepted<\/span> the statutes and budget proposed by the Town Hall.<\/p>\n
