A new dangerous electrical incident<\/h3>\n
On July 16, 2021<\/span>, a serious incident occurred due to the deteriorated condition of the electrical network in the urbanization of Les Planes del Rei, endangering the safety of residents and creating a high fire risk<\/span>.<\/p>\n At nightfall, a fire broke out at calle Narciso n\u00ba13<\/span>, caused by a short circuit due to the aging of the electrical cables. Sparks ignited part of a pine tree. Fortunately, neighbors reacted quickly by alerting the fire department, who intervened promptly and extinguished the flames. Endesa also responded to the incident.<\/p>\n We narrowly avoided a disaster<\/span>. Had it occurred at night with no one nearby, or during strong winds \u2014 which are frequent in Planes del Rei \u2014 the human and material damage could have been catastrophic.<\/p>\n The absence of public lighting, combined with the poor condition of the streets, poses a constant danger<\/span> to pedestrians, especially during the holiday season when many people are present.
