All property owners in the Planes del Rei urbanisation pay approximately \u20ac230,000<\/span> each year in IBI.<\/p>\n The Impuesto sobre Bienes Inmuebles (IBI)<\/span> \u2014 also known as SUMA<\/em> in the province of Alicante \u2014 is a local property tax collected annually by the town hall<\/span> where the property is located.<\/p>\n This tax is used to finance the operation, maintenance, and development of local facilities and infrastructure.<\/p>\n In other words<\/span>, Mr. Mayor, the Pratdip Town Hall collects \u20ac250,000 annually<\/span> from the residents of Planes del Rei\u2026 to provide the minimum services required by law.<\/p>\n They are defined by Law 7\/1985 of April 2<\/span>, regulating the foundations of the local regime (Article 26):<\/p>\n 1.
