Swearing-in of Mr. Pescador<\/h2>\n<p>Mr. Jose Pescador took the oath to uphold the Constitution and Spanish laws. The Town Council <span class=\"accentue\">unanimously approved<\/span> his appointment as municipal councillor.<\/p>\n<hr style=\"margin-bottom: 30px;\" \/>\n<h2>2. Agreement with the Consell Comarcal \u2013 Pratdip Wastewater Treatment Plant<\/h2>\n<p>The Town Council reviewed a <span class=\"accentue\">collaboration agreement<\/span> between the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baixcamp.cat\/\" target=\"_blank\">Consell Comarcal del Baix Camp<\/a> and several municipalities, including Pratdip, to delegate to the <a href=\"https:\/\/cwp.cat\/en\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\">Catalan Water Agency (ACA)<\/a> the management of the wastewater treatment service.<\/p>\n<p>This program, scheduled for 2022 to 2027, covers only the treatment plants of the urban centers of Arbol\u00ed, Capafonts, Maspujols, Vilanova d\u2019Escornalbou, and Pratdip. <span class=\"accentue\">The wastewater treatment plant of Les Planes del Rei is explicitly excluded.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The agreement provides that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Consell Comarcal will oversee the drafting of technical projects, alternative studies, regulation of operations, and service management.<\/li>\n<li>Funding agreements will be signed between the Consell Comarcal and the ACA for the listed towns <span class=\"accentue\">excluding Les Planes del Rei<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>The new treatment plants will be operated by the company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comaigua.cat\/\" target=\"_blank\">COMAIGUA.<\/a>\n<\/ul>\n<hr style=\"margin-bottom: 30px;\" \/>\n<h2>Once again, Planes del Rei is left out<\/h2>\n<p>When questioned by councillors from <span class=\"accentue\">Avan\u00e7a Pratdip<\/span>, the Town Hall confirmed that <span class=\"accentue\">the Les Planes del Rei treatment plant is not part of the agreement<\/span>. No explanation was provided regarding any resolution or ongoing project.<\/p>\n<p>It should be noted that this plant was <span class=\"accentue\">built with contributions from local property owners<\/span> and remains unused today, due to a municipal decision.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"accentue\">No plans, studies, or concrete projects<\/span> appear to be in preparation.
