In one month, municipal elections will be held in Pratdip and across Spain. This year, two very different visions for the future of our municipality are in conflict.<\/p>\n
The PDCAT<\/span> of outgoing mayor Joan Maria Rovira Vernet<\/span> and the PSC<\/span> led by Josep Maria Rovira Casado<\/span> have joined forces to present a single list: \u00abJunts per Catalunya\u00bb<\/span>.<\/p>\n A misleading name \u2014 more appropriately \u00abJunts por Pratdip\u00bb<\/span> \u2014 as this list has consistently ignored the needs of residents living outside the village center. Its members have never taken action for Planes del Rei or other parts of the municipality. They protect one another and prioritize private interests<\/span> over the public good.<\/p>\n Worse still, the list is entirely composed of men: not a single woman<\/span> is included.<\/p>\n In contrast, a new team is emerging: \u00abAvan\u00e7a Pratdip\u00bb<\/span>.
