A decisive step toward the municipal recognition of our urbanisation<\/p>\n

The Catalan courts have ruled: the EUCC is dissolved<\/h2>\n

Dear property owners of Planas del Rey,<\/p>\n

The High Court of Justice of Catalonia has ordered the definitive dissolution of the Urbanistic Collaborative Entity (EUCC)<\/span>. Following this decision, the current members of the Governing Council have announced that they will cease all activity as of August 31, 2017<\/span>. On that date, the structure that had been autonomously managing Planas for decades will cease to exist<\/span> legally and administratively.<\/p>\n

The Town Hall continues to deny its responsibilities<\/h2>\n

Despite this court ruling, the Town Hall of Pratdip still refuses to acknowledge its responsibility toward our urbanisation<\/span>. This situation creates legitimate uncertainty and confusion among many property owners. And yet, the ruling is clear: basic public services must now be provided by the municipality<\/span>, just as in every other inhabited area of the town.<\/p>\n

\n

No more community fees or annual budgets<\/h2>\n

With the departure of the Governing Council, there will be no more fees to pay or budget to approve<\/span>. This is a significant step forward for residents, who for far too long have had to personally fund the maintenance of an urbanisation that the Town Hall should have been managing for decades.<\/p>\n

\n

A historic opportunity not to be missed<\/h2>\n

This situation represents a historic turning point<\/span>. For the first time, Catalan legislation gives us the means to demand that the Town Hall fulfill its obligations<\/span>. After so many years of struggle, we cannot afford to miss this opportunity<\/span>. Unity and vigilance are more essential than ever.<\/p>\n

Do not create a parallel structure<\/h2>\n

Some suggest creating a new association or entity to manage services. That would be a serious mistake:<\/p>\n
