Around 70 people<\/span> attended, demonstrating genuine interest in the current situation and future prospects of our urbanization.<\/p>\n

A citizen-led and diverse group<\/h2>\n

This meeting was organized by the Grupo de Colaboraci\u00f3n Planas<\/span>, a collective of committed women and men from various Planas associations, joined by property owners wishing to move things forward.<\/p>\n

Group presentation and electoral challenges<\/h2>\n

Mr. Abraham RUIZ<\/span> presented the group and explained the reasons for its creation, first in Castilian<\/span>, then in English. Ms. PLANET<\/span> translated into German<\/span>, and Mr. LALOYAUX<\/span> provided a summary in French<\/span>.<\/p>\n

One of the key topics discussed was the political future of Planas<\/span>, in the context of the municipal elections of May 2019<\/span>. He emphasized the need for a single candidate list representing Planas in order to obtain the maximum number of elected officials<\/span> \u2014 ideally four.<\/p>\n

To achieve this, it is essential that property owners register with the town hall (emprad\u00f3n) and on the electoral roll (censo) before October 31, 2018<\/span>. A step-by-step guide has been prepared to assist with the process (see appendix).<\/p>\n

Speech by Mr. Oscar Serrano i Daura<\/span>, Municipal Councillor<\/h2>\n

Mr. Oscar Serrano i Daura, elected councillor of the Pratdip town hall, spoke to explain why his group left the municipal majority<\/span>: the mayor had not respected the agreements made in the political pact for Planas del Rey.<\/p>\n

He also condemned the silence of the town hall during the January 10<\/span> plenary meeting, where no mention was made of the serious water issue<\/span> that occurred in Planas on December 31, 2017. Despite the presence of 40 to 50 property owners, the mayor showed only contempt and denial<\/span>, including in his public statements to the press.<\/p>\n
